Country music sensation Nathan Carter drew a large crowd to the Market Square yesterday for the Táin Summer Music Festival.

The weather couldn’t have been better for his performance, with support on the day coming from the likes of Who’s Eddie? and ex Eurovision entrants Donna and Joe McCaul.

Country music sensation Nathan Carter will be in Dundalk tonight, as he performs at the Carrickdale Hotel.

The Liverpool-born singer has been growing in popularity in recent years with his hit ‘Wagon Wheel’ now one of the most requested tracks in the country.

For those who can’t make it tonight, fear not, as Nathan will be back in Dundalk on Sunday June 9th when he will be headlining the Táin Summer Festival in the Market Square.

Country music star Nathan Carter was in Dundalk yesterday to help launch the Táin Summer Festival, which will take place on the weekend of June 8th and 9th.

Nathan, whose parents hail from Newry, will be performing live at the Market Square on Sunday June 9th with tickets going on sale today from the Dundalk BIDS (TCCM) office at the Square. Other performers will be unveiled in the coming days and weeks.

Nathan, who was born in Liverpool, has been packing out music venues all over Ireland in the last few years and is certainly the biggest star of country music in Ireland at present with fans of all ages.
