A house was broken into in the Avenue Road area on Saturday.
Baring in mind it’s Christmas, there were probably an endless amount of things that a would-be thief could take. However, all that was taken on this occasion was a pavlova.
Anyone seen buying cream in Sloane’s or the Avenue Stores could be under suspicion.
