Local comedian Oliver Callan enjoyed one of his biggest hits of last year with a skit about Dundalk.
He followed that up over New Year with a skit called ‘Dundalk Abbey’ on his RTÉ show ‘Callan Kicks The Year’.
While the Inniskeen man’s sketch is undoubtedly funny, it seems to me that it more accurately reflects a Killanny/Carrickmacross/Ardee accent than that of the town.
