The billion euro house in Muirhevnamor

We’ve all heard the reports about rising property prices around the country but needless to say it caught our eye this morning when we seen a three bed house in Muirhevnamor advertised on Daft.ie at over €1.2 billion.

The price of the property at 41 Doolargy Avenue – €1,234,567,890 – is all the more surprising considering it has been boarded up and is advertised by estate agent Brendan McVerry as being “in being in need of refurbishment”.

While the price is quite clearly an error, it has been advertised as such for the last 13 days without correction.

Certainly, if it isn’t a mistake you’d have to be daft – and indeed very rich – to make this purchase.
