Thanks to Ronan for bringing our attention to an incident which happened in Dublin Street and Park Street this morning.

A thief, reported to have been from Drogheda, tried to flee from the Dublin Street area having stolen a sum of money. He was pursued, however, by Windsor owner Donal McGeough, who caught up with him at the Kingfisher on Park Street.

The thief failed to get anything in the end and was passed on to Gardaí after the incident.
