Creative Spark are joining with An Táin Arts Centre to hold a 20:20 Spirit of Creativity event in the Basement Gallery of the Town Hall this Friday night from 7pm.
This fast-paced and fun PechaKucha style event is a chance for you to talk about something you’re passionate about and see what other people are into too. The evening is run in a slideshow format with each person displaying 20 images of their choice with 20 seconds to talk about each image. You don’t have to take part as a speaker, audience members are welcome.
The MC on the evening will be An Táin’s Managing Director Paul Hayes who said: “I’m really looking forward to this collaboration with Creative Spark, it’ll be a great way of finding out what other people in Dundalk are passionate about.”
Creative Spark’s ‘Come to the Edge’ exhibition in the Basement Gallery will also have extended opening for the duration of the evening. Both of these events are free.
On the same night Louth actor and producer Aoibheann McCann is bringing her company’s acclaimed theatre production WRAPPED to An Táin Arts Centre for one night only.
Full of tension, plot twists and satirical wit, WRAPPED is an hilarious and heart breaking look at two streetwise women’s friendship and the decisions they make that change their lives forever.
