A local business student has opened up a pop up shop on Clanbrassil Street called ‘The Easter Egg Hut’.

The new store, which is located at 36 Clanbrassil Street next to Wendle’s and opposite L’Isle de France, is selling a range of Easter eggs and seasonal novelties in the build-up to Easter Sunday on April 20th.

The store is the brainchild of Declan Curran, a 21-year-old business student in Dundalk IT.

He explained the idea behind the store to Talk of the Town and hopes it brings him some crucial business experience ahead of future ventures.

“Growing up I was always surrounded by business as both my parents were entrepreneurs,” he said.

“This inspired my interest in business so as I am coming to the end of my degree, I came up with the idea of a pop-up shop. This idea was to sell Easter eggs and seasonal novelties.

“I am very excited about my venture and think it’s a great chance for people to support a local up and coming entrepreneur. I also offer great value,” he said.

You can find out more about the shop on its Facebook page or call in yourself to see all it has to offer.
