Leaking water main affecting residents in Cluan Enda and Belfry

Residents in the Cluan Enda and Belfry Gardens areas, off the St Alphonsus Road, may experience a drop in water pressure today.

This is due to a leaking water main that is currently being repaired by Irish Water. It is expected that the problem will be dealt with by 6pm this evening.

Road at Castlebellingham closed due to major water main burst

The R132 at Castlebellingham remains closed this morning due to a major water main burst at the bridge beside the O’Connells GAA pitch.

Diversions are in place, with Louth County Council and Irish Water hoping to resolve the issue later today.
