Dundalk Theatre Workshop are staging Terence Rattigan’s classic tale ‘The Winslow Boy’ for two nights only at an Táin Theatre at the Town Hall in Dundalk on Friday February 21st and Saturday February 22nd at 7.30pm.

The show will be staged locally before the workshop embark on a tour of the drama festival circuit, with the home being that they can secure qualification to the RTÉ-sponsored All-Ireland drama finals in May .

Based on a true story of a father’s fight to clear his son’s name, the production  drew packed houses, standing ovations and rave reviews when first performed last November and returns by public demand. This is a visually stunning costume drama set in pre-World War One Edwardian London.

Directed by Fergus Mullen and with an impressively strong cast headed by Tim Ahern, Aine Corcoran and exciting newcomer Sean Og Cairns, this is a unique opportunity to see a first class production of a genuine theatre classic that is destined for greater things.
