Knockbridge Vintage Rally taking place this Sunday

Knockbridge Vintage Rally is taking place this Sunday with an exciting line-up planned.

As well as live entertainment from Declan Nerney there will be steam engines, sheep racing, horse ploughing, flower arranging, a talent show, vintage car and tractor displays, vintage threshing, a dog show, trade stands, cookery demonstrations, a vintage fashion show, tug of war and much more.

There will also be a children’s corner featuring puppet shows, an animal farm and more.

Greenore Maritime Festival next weekend

The Greenore Maritime Festival 2014 will take place in Greenore on Saturday and Sunday August 16^th and 17^th.

Amongst the events set to take place over the course of the weekend include street music, boat rowing competitions, miniature model railway displays, sea fishing competition, steam engines, craft displays and vintage car displays.

All are welcome to attend over the course of the weekend.

This weekend the Oyster Festival takes place in neighbouring Carlingford.
