Dundalk Gaels are hoping to build two new stands at their pitch on the Ramparts Road.
They have been given the go ahead by Louth County Council to build two new stands at Pairc na nGaeil – one on the east side of the pitch and the other on the west side.
They are also hoping to construct toilet facilities and a store on the west side, as well as a 2.4m high boundary wall on the west side of the ground.
It is hoped each stand will accommodate between 150-200 people.
