Setanta Choir prepare to celebrate the music this Sunday

A Celebrate The Music event with the Setanta Choir and guests will take place this Sunday night at 7.30pm in St Patrick’s Church in Roden Place.

Marking 36 years of choral singing the night will feature performances from Vivaldi’s Gloria as well as works from Handel, Bruckner, Fauré, Jenkins, Piazzolla and Gjeilo.

Conductor on the night will be Brian MacKay. Soprano is Aisling Kenny, Alto is Ailbhe Howard while Jennifer Murphy will be playing violin.

Mass for the Theophany of Our Lord this Sunday in Dundalk

Mass for the Theophany of Our Lord will take place in St Patrick’s Church in Dundalk on Sunday at 3pm.

This will continue on the second Sunday of every month, also at 3pm, and all are welcome to attend.

Sunday’s Mass will feature the divine liturgy and the great blessing of water.
