Fundraising concert to be held in aid of St Joseph’s organ restoration

A fundraising concert in aid of St Joseph’s organ restoration will take place in St Joseph’s Redemptorist Church in Dundalk on Sunday May 10th at 7.30pm.

The event will feature both the Setanta Choir and the St Joseph’s senior choir performing Fauré’s Requiem and other choral works.

Setanta Choir prepare to celebrate the music this Sunday

A Celebrate The Music event with the Setanta Choir and guests will take place this Sunday night at 7.30pm in St Patrick’s Church in Roden Place.

Marking 36 years of choral singing the night will feature performances from Vivaldi’s Gloria as well as works from Handel, Bruckner, Fauré, Jenkins, Piazzolla and Gjeilo.

Conductor on the night will be Brian MacKay. Soprano is Aisling Kenny, Alto is Ailbhe Howard while Jennifer Murphy will be playing violin.

Setanta Choir Christmas Concert this Saturday

The Setanta Choir will host their Christmas Concert this Saturday night at 8pm in An Táin Theatre at the Town Hall.

MC on the night will be dancer and TV presenter Dearbhla Lennon, with special guests including Anóm Dance, Conal Duffy, Jennifer Murphy, Michael O’neill and Sean Rooney.

Also back by popular demand is ‘The Snowman’.

Tickets are available from the An Táin Theatre Box Office priced €15, with a family ticket €40.
