The Dunleer AC clubman came home just ahead of Brian McCloskey of North East Runners.
Donna Evans was the first woman to finish the race.

The clock is ticking down to this Sunday’s Run Dundalk 10km.
The event will take on a new route this year but will still start and finish in the Market Square. Anyone not participating is encouraged to come along on the day and support the event, which is being run in aid of the Irish Cancer Society.
The race gets underway from 4pm with full details on www.rundundalk.com where registrations are still being accepted.
The Dundalk 10km road race will be taking place on Sunday May 12th.
This year’s race will have a slightly different route, taking in the by-pass and St Helena’s Park, with a run through of the total course available in the video below.
Those who register before midnight tomorrow (Tuesday April 30th) can do so for an early bird rate of €20, with registrations after that costing €25.
There will be no half marathon this year, as there has been in previous years.
The race – which is being sponsored by Mint in Earl Street – will get underway on the day from 4pm with the start and finish line in Market Square.
