Roskeagh is located close to Mountpleasant and the Carrickasticken Road
An on-going Garda-led operation is in progress near Dundalk.
It is taking place at Roskeagh close to the M1 flyover – just off the Old Armagh road – about two miles from Dundalk.
It is understood the Garda regional support unit are involved in the operation.
The Army bomb disposal unit are also at the scene.
A small area has been sealed off.
