Ridley’s could be set to close for a number of months as one of Dundalk’s most popular venues is renovated.

Brookwood Taverns Ltd have been granted conditional planning permission by Louth County Council to carry out a series of alterations to 91 and 92 Park Street – currently trading as Eden Disco Bar and Kehoe’s Bar with Ridley’s Night Club above.

The plans include partial demolition, elevational changes, a new exit lobby to the laneway and the amalgamation of both buildings.

The business, run by the Kehoe family, is known to regularly upgrade itself every few years and it looks like more changes could be on the way soon.
