Rental costs rise 12.2% annually in Co Louth

Property-prices-rise_0Renting a property in Co Louth is 12.2% more expensive than a year ago.

That’s according to the latest Daft.ie Rental Report for Q2 2015.

The report reveals that the average rent in Co Louth is now €761 a month, making it the fourth most expensive place to rent at present outside of the major urban areas of Dublin, Limerick City, Galway City and Cork City.

The full breakdown of average rental costs for Louth is as follows:

  • One bed apartment – €521 (13.6%)
  • Two bed house – €595 (15.2%)
  • Three bed house – €744 (13.4%)
  • Four bed house – €806 (14.6%)
  • Five bed house – €867 (17.3%)

Rental prices continue to rise in Louth

The cost of renting in Louth rose 3.9% last year, according to the latest Daft.ie Rental Report.

The average price of a rental property here is now €641, according to the report.

Despite the increase, it is below the national increase of 7.1% and the increase in the Dublin commuter counties of 6% with increases in Meath, Kildare and Wicklow all higher.
