The One Way Summer Camp will return to Dundalk for an eighth year at the end of the month.

The biggest children’s summer camp in town, One Way caters for between 150 and 200 children between the ages of four and 12.

This year they have changed location to allow the camp to grow more with it scheduled for Oriel Park between July 29th and August 2nd.

The camp claims to be the cheapest in town at only €30 for early registration (€35 for late registration), which covers you for a full week.

The camp will run from Monday to Friday from 9.30am to 3pm each day. There will also be a parent’s evening on the Friday.

Throughout the camp, children will get to take part in a range of activities including sports, dance, drama, games, arts and crafts and many more.

Plenty of people will be heading out for tomorrow night’s Champion’s League final but local disco bar Eden will be offering something different for the game as they will be hosting a BBQ for it on their rooftop beer garden.

An excellent deal is going as well, whereby you can get a beer and burger or hot dog for just €6. This is the first in a number of summer BBQs that Eden has lined up.

Dundalk has suffered another business blow after Riva Leisure closed its doors.

The popular bingo hall, which was located in the old Studio 8 nite club at the Fairways Hotel, had been open daily since 2010.

With a free mini bus taking people to bingo sessions, it proved a popular past-time for people of all ages.

However, the business – which was run by local man Sean Kelly – has now closed. Riva Leisure confirmed this by posting a closed sign on their Facebook page yesterday.
