Part of the Blackrock Road (R172) will be closed between its junctions with the Red Barns Road/Long Avenue and Hardy’s Lane (Finnabair Industrial Park) from Monday April 27th to Monday May 11th to facilitate road resurfacing works.
The road will be closed from 7.30am to 6.30pm each day with local access only permitted during these times.
Diversions will be in place via the Inner Relief Road, passing Dundalk Retail Park.
Meanwhile, the LP3097-0 road at the Railway Bridge in Lower Faughart will also be closed to public traffic from Friday April 27th to Monday May 4th between the hours of 7.30am and 6.30pm.
Local access only during these times, with diversions in place.
