Louth Ladies fashion show fundraiser this Saturday

The Louth Ladies GAA team will host a fundraising fashion show this Saturday night at 8.30pm in Oriel Active at Oriel Park.

Amongst the shops showcasing their products in the fashion show are Wallis, Quiz, Elverys, Elmay Boutique, Ruby Nu, Neola, Rapport, Beau Chic, New Look, Bella Me Dress House and Tony McDonnell Menswear.

Many of the county footballers will be modelling the attire on the night with Mr Ireland, Karl Bowe, the guest of honour to model the menswear.

MC on the night is LMFM’s Gerry Kelly, with tickets still available priced €10 from any member of the County Board, any ladies player, Smyth’s Life Pharmcy in Seatown or on the door on the night.

Proceeds will go to all the ladies teams and will help the seniors pay for the expense of their trip to face Scotland in this year’s Championship.

Knockbridge Hurling Club table quiz tomorrow

Knockbridge Hurling Club will host a table quiz this Friday night at 9.30pm in Cluskey’s of Little Ash.

A table of four is €40 and a raffle will also be held on the night.

All are welcome to attend what is an important fundraiser for the club.

Dundalk Young Irelands table quiz this Friday

Dundalk Young Irelands GFC will hold their Christmas table quiz this Friday night in McGeough’s Bar in Roden Place.

The event gets underway at 9pm sharp, with a table of four costing €30.

Refreshments will also be served on the night.

Sean O’Mahony’s to host victory table quiz

Sean O’Mahony’s GFC will host a victory table quiz, celebrating their recent Louth Intermediate Championship success, in Kehoe’s Bar in Quay Street on Friday November 21^st.

The event gets underway at 8.30pm sharp, with a table of four €40.

The Spirit Store to host new pub quiz each Monday

The Spirit Store are set to hold a new pub quiz every Monday evening at 9.30pm.

Kevin Gaskin will host the so-called ‘Monday Night Spirit Store Pub Quiz’ each week.

The quiz will consist of six rounds of 10 questions, with entry €4 per team.

There will be pints and gig tickets up for grabs each week and, all in all, it sounds like a pretty fun evening.

Knockbridge camogie table quiz

A table quiz will be held in McNamee’s pub in Knockbridge at 8pm tonight to raise funds for the village’s U-14 camogie team ahead of their trip to the Feile.

Tickets are €10 per person and all are welcome to attend.

Refreshments will also be served.

Cuchulainn Credit Union quiz in aid of local charities

Cuchulainn Credit Union’s social club are holding a table quiz in aid of five local charities in McGeough’s Bar, Roden Place, on Friday May 30^th at 7.30pm.

The charities set to benefit include Dundalk Simon Community, The Birches Alzheimer Day Care Centre, Women’s Aid Dundalk, the Maria Goretti Foundation in Lordship and the Cuan Mhuire Centre in Ballybay, Co Monaghan.

Admission to the quiz is €20 for a table of four and there will be a raffle and spot prizes on the night.

All are welcome to attend.

Order of Malta table quiz scheduled for Kennedy’s next month

A quiz night in aid of Dundalk Order of Malta will take place in Kennedy’s Bar on the Carrick Road on Thursday June 19^th at 8pm.

Tickets for a table of five cost just €20, while there will also be a raffle on the night.

All support on the night is welcomed.

Rape Crisis North East to host Father Ted-themed quiz this Thursday

Rape Crisis North East will hold a ‘Craggy Island Pub Quiz’ this Thursday night at 8pm.

The Father Ted-themed quiz will take place in The Jockey’s Bar in Anne Street. A team of four on the night costs €40 and includes food and prizes.
