A major tragedy was narrowly avoided in Dundalk yesterday when a young mother just caught her child’s pram after it went flying through the air having struck a piece of broken road.
The startled mum made the above post on Facebook, with a number of her friends heavily critical of the current state of the roads.
Here at Talk of the Town we have removed her name and picture from the post to protect her identity but needless to say this was a definite let-off.
At a time when motor taxes have risen, roads have rarely been in a worse state and it is only a matter of time before they cause a major accident, whether it be for a pedestrian or a motorist.
