Now owner Peter Conlon plans to open in the Avenue Road shopping complex, below The Gym and beside both the vets and Lidl.

Conlon’s Food Hall celebrates 30 years in business

Conlon’s Food Hall celebrated the 30th anniversary of the opening of their first store in Patrick Street back in May but the celebrations are continuing throughout the summer.

The popular delicatessen, which has two stores in Church Street and the Long Walk Shopping Centre, will be having an anniversary celebration event in their Church Street store on August 1st.

Before then, however, Conor McGinnity has put together a neat little video marking the landmark occasion for Peter Conlon and all the staff at Conlon’s.

The short documentary features Peter Conlon and his son and heir apparent Christopher, as well as stalwart employee Kathleen O’Callaghan and long-time customer Imelda Campbell.

It’s definitely worth a watch.

Congrats to all on a wonderful landmark.
