The Patsy Kelly 5K race, affectionately known as the PK5K, will take place on the Saturday April 18th at 6.30pm.

The race is run in the memory of Patsy Kelly, who was a member of the North East Runners and Clan na Gael GFC.

Last year’s PK5K saw the race almost reach its capacity with over 900 participants involved. With a limit of 1,000 entrants accepted, it is important to register early to avoid disappointment.

The North Louth Hospice is the 2015 race beneficiary and all net race proceeds will be donated to this very worthwhile charity. To date the Patsy Kelly 5K series has raised almost €10k for various local charities.

This year’s main race sponsor is Black & White Living on the Coes Road.

The race HQ is the Clan na Gael clubrooms on the Ecco Road and all packs can be picked up from there on the day before and the day of the race.

Each entrant will receive a technical t-shirt, a very generous goody bag, chip timing, and plenty of complimentary refreshments in the Clans clubrooms after the race.

The €15 entry fee makes this race one of the best value events around so register now to avoid disappointment at www.precisiontiming.net
