Local actor Pat McDonnell is set to appear in a production of John B Keane’s Moll in The Gaiety Theatre in May.

Moll will also star Frank Kelly (Father Jack in Father Ted) as His Lordship The Bishop, Des Keogh (The Love Hungry Farmer) as Very Rev Canon Pratt, Mary McEvoy (Glenroe) as Bridgie Andover, Clare Barrett (Fair City) as Moll and Damian Kearney (Stones In His Pockets) as Father Brest CC.

The play is set in rural Kerry, with tickets on sale now from €22.50 including booking fee from the Gaiety Theatre box office.

Pat has previously featured in a wide range of TV shows including Naked Camera, The Savage Eye and Moone Boy but is perhaps best remembered for his role in Father Ted as Eoin McLove in 1998.
