A large amount of flooding has been reported in areas around Dundalk following heavy rainfall this morning.
Amongst the areas affected include:
- Ardee Road
- Hoey’s Lane
- Park Avenue
- Castletown Road
- McSwiney Street
- Legion Avenue
- Fairgreen
- Tom Bellew Avenue
- Ecco Road
- Inner Relief Road
- Dublin Road
Motorists are urged to drive with caution at all times and, if possible, to avoid the affected areas. A large number of housing estates including Bay Estate and Greenacres are also badly affected.
