Park Street or Paint Street?

unnamed

Plenty of people were being encouraged to paint their premises last month ahead of the arrival of the Giro d’Italia in Dundalk.

However, it appears that one person got a bit too worked up about the matter on Friday evening after a tin of paint was spilled on the ground outside the former Planet video store on Park Street.

It’s unknown who carried out the temporary clean-up operation but a large piece of cardboard was thrown over the spillage area, or at least the majority of it.

Five days on, however, and the mess remains with the spill now a huge eye sore on the street.

Surely it’s time someone in the council took responsibility for it and cleaned up the mess or at least look into who is responsible and bring them to book?
