It snowed today in Dundalk for just under an hour.
The snow started to fall around 2pm in a light blizzard style and ended around 3pm.
AA Roadwatch warned motorists in the Dundalk and Ardee areas to drive with care in the current conditions – which were reported to be worse in and around Castleblayney and Carrickmacross. Motorists were also warned about poor visibility on the M1 motorway from the Ardee and Castlebellingham heading southbound towards Dundalk.
