A new coffee shop will open its doors in Dundalk on Monday morning.
Black & White Living will be located beside National Tile on the Coes Road/Inner Relief Road.
The coffee house will be open from 9am to 6pm daily and as well as gourmet coffees, will also serve sandwiches, wraps, paninis and all sorts of other tasty treats.
A 74-year-old man was beaten and mugged in broad daylight close to National Tile on the Inner Relief Road yesterday evening around 6.30pm.
The pensioner was punched and mugged by two men in their 20s, who left him lying a ditch before he was finally discovered by a member of the public almost half an hour later.
Thankfully the man is expected to make a full recovery from his injuries. Anyone with any information on the incident is asked to contact Dundalk Gardaí.
