rcneRape Crisis North East will host a car boot sale this Sunday in McEvoy’s car park in Bachelor’s Walk.

The event gets underway at 11am and runs until 4pm with entry €2 per person, children free and sellers admitted for €10 (car) or €15 (van).

All proceeds will go to Rape Crisis North East to provide a much needed counselling and support service to women, men and teenagers.

SNAP to host car boot sale this Sunday

Special Needs Active Parents (SNAP) will host a car boot sale this Sunday in McEvoy’s car park in Bachelor’s Walk.

The event will run from 11am to 3.30pm and along with the stalls will include tea/coffee, cakes and ice cream, as well as face painting for the kids and a raffle.

Admission is €2 per person, with kids going free.

Sellers can set up from 9.30am, with a fee of €10 per car or €15-€20 per van.

SNAP is a non-funded charity and depends totally on fundraising and donations to provide services and activities for special children.

Dundalk Men’s Shed to host car boot sale this Sunday

Dundalk Men’s Shed will host a car boot sale this Sunday in McEvoy’s Car Park on Bachelor’s Walk.

The car boot sale runs from 11am to 3pm with entry fee €2 for adults and children free. To bring a car along on the day costs €10, while a van is €15.

SOSAD will host a car boot sale this Sunday in McEvoy’s car park on Batchelor’s Walk.

The event takes place from 11am to 3.30pm and will feature face painting, ice cream, tea and coffee.

Vehicles can sell at the event priced €10 for cars or €15 for vans with entry on the day €2 for adults, while children go free.

All support for the event is most welcome.

Rape Crisis North East issue thank you to all who supported car boot sale

rcneRape Crisis North East would like to sincerely thank everyone who supported and took part in their Car Boot Sale last Sunday at McEvoy’s car park.

A special thank you was issued to the friends of Rape Crisis North East who kindly provided assistance with the event including McEvoys, The Lisdoo Bar and Blackstone Restaurant, Fr Mark O’Hagan at St Patrick’s, David Darcy at Tesco Extra Dundalk and Richard Mackin at Print Express.

All proceeds resulting from this fundraising event will go directly towards the counselling and support services of the centre.

A statement from RCNE read: “It is as a result of your kind efforts and continued support that we are able to continue to offer our professional services here in Dundalk and at our Outreach Centre in Drogheda.

“We wish to acknowledge your valued support, as it helped greatly and was most appreciated by all our staff involved with this successful fundraising event.”

Admission for buyers is €2 per person, free entry for children attending with parents. Sellers with their cars can set-up from 10am at a fee of €10 per car and €15 per van.

The Cellars has plenty to offer

The Cellars, a new craft and traders’ market, opened its doors recently in the cellar, downstairs in McEvoy’s on Clanbrassil Street.

So far the market format has proven a huge success with many people visiting during the opening hours of Monday to Saturday from 9am to 6pm.

There are still some stalls available to rent, with details available from McEvoy’s. All types of arts crafts and traders welcome.
Here are some of the stalls that are currently trading:

Draiocht Handmade and Photography
At Draiocht Handmade and Photography, they specialise in handmade natural bath products, such as soaps, body scrubs, and body butters with a number of new products currently in the pipeline. They also have a vast selection of photography of Dundalk and the surrounding areas, also with a portrait studio opening soon.

Paris Chic

New craft market to open at McEvoy’s

The cellers

A new craft market will open at McEvoy’s on Clanbrassil Street on Monday May 18th.

The Cellers will be open from Monday to Saturday, with a number of stalls available to rent. They are suitable for a wide range of uses and give you the opportunity to showcase your products or services in one of the town’s busiest stores.

Access will be directly from McEvoy’s and Belle’s Coffee Boutique, which also opens on May 18th.
