iCreate.ie confirmed as only Apple certified training facility in North East

apple-logoDundalk’s iCreate.ie has been confirmed as the only Apple certified training facility in the North East.

The seal of approval from Apple for the courses offered by the Digital Media Academy is yet another milestone for the company founded in 2012 by Clive Friary and Brid Rocks, which specialises in tailored training for individuals and also school and business groups and which, more recently, has also expanded into iBook publishing.

Speaking on iCreate.ie’s latest success, Clive Friary said “There are only five authorised Apple Training Centres in Ireland and iCreate.ie is now the designated centre for the North East. It is a tremendous achievement for iCreate.ie to be recognised by Apple and we look forward to a very bright future.”

Apple certified courses on Mac Integration Basics 10.9, Mac Support Essentials 10.9 and Mac Support Essentials Upgrade 10.8 to 10.9 plus Apple examinations will commence in early February at the iCreate.ie offices in the Creative Spark Building, Clontygora Drive. The courses vary from 1 to 3 days in length.

Clive explained: “The courses are most suitable to those working consistently with Apple media, including those in IT administration, of which there are many in this region. We can now offer these courses locally saving people time and expense on travelling to training centres.

“Those who complete the courses will receive a personalised certificate with Certifications plus they will also be listed on the Apple Certified Professionals Registry.”

iCreate.ie also has a number of courses aimed at the everyday tablet user, particularly those who Santa may have brought an iPad to over Christmas. One and two day Level 1 Introduction to iPad courses will commence mid-January through to February with Level 2 courses in Getting More from your iPad also available.
