Local businessman Stephen O’Connor completed the London Marathon at the weekend in a time of 4 hours and 11 minutes.

Stephen, a former Louth GAA PRO, was running the race in aid of the Clic Sargent Children’s Cancer Care and The Children’s Respite Home in Lordship.

The O’Connor & Co Insurance Loss Assessors boss had raised thousands of euro since the start of the year for each charity and will be making a presentation to both shortly.

As part of the day, Stephen also got a selfie with former Liverpool, Real Madrid, Man Utd and England striker Michael Owen.

Well done Stephen!
