Lismar B&B on Stapleton Place is close to being sold after sale agreed signs went up on the property in the last week or so.

The terraced three storey Edwardian properties at 8 and 9 Stapleton Place went on the market with Michael Lavelle estate agents back in April for €350,000 but it is not known what offer is on Lismar.

It currently operates as self catering and guesthouse accommodation and both addresses been restored and refurbished in recent years.

8 Stapleton Place consists of seven self-contained self catering units in a mix of one and two bed units while 9 Stapleton Place features nine en-suite guest bedrooms, a 15-20 seater dining room, a kitchen and office. There is also parking spaces to the rear, a house manager’s apartment, a laundry room and a separate office.

Lismar B&B on Stapleton Place has gone on the market with an asking price of €350,000 through local estate agents Michael Lavelle.

Prominent Dundalk buildings on the market

The Elgee Building at Market Square

Two prominent Dundalk properties have gone on the market in recent days.

The Elgee Buildings at Market Square, which houses the Vodafone Ready To Go store and Ulster Bank, is available for €1.8m with estate agents DNG Duffy.

The building consists of four retail units on the ground floor – each with a basement – and four floors of office space which are serviced by a lift.

Also in situ at the building are PetSafe and Woods Ahern Mullen solicitors.

The existing tenants would be unaffected by any sale.

Meanwhile, Lismar B&B on Stapelton Place has also been put up for sale for an undisclosed sum.

The Edwardian property offers a combination of guest house and serviced apartments and is being offered for sale by Michael Lavelle estate agents in one or two lots.

In total there are nine bedrooms in the property, all of which are en-suite.
