Knockbridge Vintage Club road run this Sunday postponed

Logo-small-clearDue to unforeseen circumstances Knockbridge Vintage Club have postponed their annual road run which was due to take place on Sunday.

Meanwhile, the Knockbridge Vintage Rally and Working Day has been scheduled for Sunday September 13th, with Declan Nerney set to provide entertainment on the day.

Knockbridge Vintage Run this Sunday

Knockbridge Vintage Club will hold their annual road run this Sunday, starting from 2pm at the local community centre.

Vintage cars and tractors are all welcome to join in the run to Blackrock, where the vehicles will park for all to see.

Refreshments and entertainment will then be provided on return to Knockbridge.
Vintage bicycles are also invited to take part.

Sinead prepares for her summer singalongs

Local singer/songwriter Sinead McNally will host the first of her four summer singalongs this Wednesday evening from 6pm to 7pm in Knockbridge Community Centre.

The evening will feature popular songs, music games and activities for boys and girls aged between 6-12.

They will sing along to some well known pop songs, as well as take part in fun energiser activities and rhythm games. Children are not expected to sing alone or have any previous singing or musical experience.

Classes run for four weeks in-a-row on July 9th, 16th, 23rd and 30th. It’s €5 per class and the child does not have to attend every one.

Admission is also €8 if there are two family members or €12 if there are three.

Parents are asked to arrive with their child at 5.45pm and return at 7pm for a short performance.
