Solar eclipse briefly sighted in Dundalk

So after all the hype, the solar eclipse turned into something of a damp squib.

Cloud cover over Dundalk and much of the North East meant that sightings of the eclipse were fleeting at best.

Despite that, a number of people managed to capture it on camera.
