Louth hurlers are still waiting on their first win of 2014 after going down to Roscommon on a 2-13 to 2-5 scoreline in the Kehoe Shield in Darver yesterday.
The Wee County will be disappointed with their performance have raced into a commanding early lead only to score just the one point on the restart.
The home side scored 2-3 in the early stages with goals coming from Oisin Drumm and Gavin Kane.
However, Roscommon knuckled down with a series of points from Gerry Fallon and a goal from Tomás Seale to leave it 2-4 to 1-4 at the break.
A second goal from Cathal Kelly shortly after the restart brought Roscommon level before Fallon added to his hefty tally to help the visitors to an easy win.
