Worklink have designed a six week “Workout” programme for unemployed jobseekers which aims to help jobseekers break the unemployment cycle and get back to work.
Workout involves six weekly 90 minute modules which will bring participants right through the job-search process from designing a CV to landing the job. Using a series of practical exercises and discussion, participants will gain new insights and ideas to apply to their work search, get a new perspective on options open to them, implement a pro-active work search plan and become interview ready.
A key component of this programme is that participants support each other and sign up to completing all six modules, in order to achieve the maximum benefit of the content.
Workout starts off with an introductory session on Tuesday 15th October at O Fiaich College in Dundalk at 7pm and continues weekly in O Fiaich for six more Tuesdays from 7pm to 8.30pm.
Places are strictly limited to unemployed jobseekers and admission is free. Priority will be given to those who can attend all six weeks.
