Music legend Peter Hook – the founding member of iconic bands such as Joy Division and New Order – will be appearing in The Spirit Store in Dundalk on Saturday March 15th.

The evening will commence with the HD Screening of critically acclaimed Joy Division feature length film “Control” followed by a Q&A session with Irish Times / Hot Press freelance journalist Tony Clayton Lea and topped off by a high octane DJ set.

Hook, or Hookey as he is known, was a co-founder of seminal, era-defining punk band Joy Division in the mid-1970s. Following the death of lead singer Ian Curtis, the band reformed as New Order. He has since moved into a career in record production and DJ’ing and fronting his own band Peter Hook and The Light. His DJ sets include house, electro and dance classics and even a little punk.

Tickets, priced €22.50, are on sale now from The Spirit Store, www.spiritstore.ie or McAteer’s The Food house in Clanbrassil Street.
