Dundalk FC’s Leinster Senior Cup quarter-final clash with Shamrock Rovers has been scheduled for Monday May 27th in Tallaght Stadium at 8pm.
With the two sides also facing each other in the EA Sports Cup next Tuesday May 21st, that means Stephen Kenny faces two trips to face his former club in the space of six days.
The two sides also met earlier this month in Tallaght, with the Hoops coming out on top 1-0.
Meanwhile, something that might be interesting for Dundalk fans is the fact that former striker Mark Quigley is being linked with a return to the club from Rovers, should the Hoops manage to resign Gary Twigg.
