Former local solicitor has six figure judgement made against him

A former local solicitor had a six figure judgement made against him in the High Court last month.

Brian Johnston, formerly practicing under the style and title of Brian Johnston & Company Solicitors, ‘Fairfield’, Chapel Road, Dromiskin had a judgement made against him of €369,892 following a case brought to the High Court on January 8^th by Start Mortgages Ltd.

The judgement was published in a recent edition of the Stubbs Gazette.

Mr Johnston, who previously practiced in Park Street, was struck off for misconduct by the High Court in April 2012 for failing to honour an undertaking in relation to a €1m loan for the purchase of a property by two of his clients.
