The celebrations of the Sean O’Mahony’s Louth Intermediate Championship success continued today with the club paying tribute to former underage player Ben McLaughlin, who is currently on the books of Premier League outfit Everton.
The former Dundalk FC right back, whose brother Keith played for the O’Mahony’s in their 1-11 to 1-8 victory over St Fechin’s on Sunday, wished the club well in the build-up to Sunday’s final at Clan na Gael Park by posing with team-mates and coach Duncan Ferguson and a green and gold flag.
With the Seamus Flood Cup firmly secured, the O’Mahony’s decided to return the favour by posing with an Everton flag outside Kehoe’s Bar this afternoon. They also undertook a bit of a sing-song, which was published over on their Facebook page.
