New craft beer company on the way to Carlingford

carlingford brewing companyA new craft beer company is being established in Carlingford.

Carlingford Brewing Company recently established its Facebook page, with a website on the way.

Its aim is to extol “the beauty, history and mythology of Carlingford town and the Cooley Peninsula through its delicious craft beer.”

When its products go on sale it will become the first major craft beer company in north Louth. The business, which was set up in March last year, is run by Sharon Boyle and Desmond Goldrick and is based at Rampark Shore in Jenkinstown.

Nearby companies such as Dan Kelly’s Cider in Drogheda and the Brehon Brewhouse in Killanny have had good success of late and here’s hoping that Carlingford Brewing Company will follow suit in that regard.
