The draw for the 2014 Setanta Cup will take place on this day fortnight, Wednesday December 11th.
Dundalk will be returning to the competition they reached the final of in 2011, when they lost out 2-0 to Shamrock Rovers at the Tallaght Stadium.
Fans of the Lilywhites will have fond memories of that campaign, including Daniel Kearns’ hat-trick in a 5-3 win over Linfield at Windsor Park.
Also in the draw for this year’s competition are league champions St Patrick’s Athletic, Shamrock Rovers and Sligo Rovers with Cliftonville, Crusaders, Glentoran and Linfield the representatives from the Irish League.
