O’Neill’s Flowers to host family fun day to mark opening of coffee and farm shop on Saturday

O’Neill’s Flowers in Willville in Carlingford will open their new coffee and farm shop this Saturday with a family fun day and farmers’ market.

There will be plenty of activites throughout the day including a BBQ masterclass, cooking demonstrations, a local producers’ market, tours of the glasshouses, a chance to pick your own strawberries and much more.

The events get underway from 10am and all are welcome to attend.

A new coffee shop opened in Heaton’s department store in Dundalk today.

The new facility at the shop in Dundalk Retail Park will be serving Insomnia coffee.

This is the latest coffee facility to open in the town, following hot on the hells of Starbucks, which recently opened in the Marshes Shopping Centre and Urbano 21 in Park Street.

The Hill Side Bar & Grill in Ardee has gone on the market for €250,000 with local estate agents Sherry FitzGerald Carroll.

Black & White Living to support the Irish Heart Foundation this Valentine’s week

Local coffee shop Black & White Living are running a fundraiser all this week in aid of the Irish Heart Foundation.

The event, which got underway yesterday and runs until today, is aimed at raising funds in the build-up to St Valentine’s Day.

The Coes Road-based business are offering free Valentine’s gift wrap on all their romantic products and Valentine’s pop cakes while for the ladies there is shellac nail paint to help with the Valentine’s date preparations.

A spokesperson for Black & White Living said: “All proceeds are going to the Irish Heart foundation and we are urging people to help look after their hearts this Valentine’s Week.”
