Black & White Construction Ltd have been granted conditional planning permission to build new homes at The Towers estate on the Point Road.
The unfinished estate was granted planning permission in September 2012 but was never fully completed – a fact which meant that it was exempt from the household charge in recent years.
Now though Black & White Construction have been given the approval to build four news homes at The Towers, which will consist of four semi-detached three bedroom homes.
Black & White Construction Ltd have applied for planning permission to build four new homes on the Point Road in Dundalk.
The four homes at The Towers will consist of two three bed semi-detached houses and two two bed semi-detached houses.
Black & White Construction Ltd have applied to Dundalk Town Council for planning permission to complete The Towers estate on the Point Road.

Now though Black & White Construction are looking to complete the development with the construction of four semi-detached three bedroom homes – a slight change from the initial plans.
Due to the fact that the site is situated close to a Natura 2000 site – the Dundalk Bay Special Protection Area – a full Natura Impact Assessment has been provided with the application.
A decision on the matter is due by May 20th.
