Further toxic diesel waste dumped in the area

Another 10,000 litres of toxic diesel sludge has been discovered dumped in Louth today.

Around 4,000 litres were found at Balregan near the motorway juniction, while around 6,000 litres was discovered at the ESB substation at Ballykelly, where toxic diesel sludge was also dumped the day before.

Today’s find at Ballykelly, just off the Dundalk-Carrickmacross Road, included three containers and eleven 205-litre drums – around half of which had burst and spilled open.
