The Dominion House of Prayer, which sold at auction yesterday

A local industrial building which is currently rented out as a church sold at auction yesterday for €285,000.

The selling price was €55,000 above its asking price.

Located on the Castletown Road between the intersections with the Bellewsbridge Road and Castleross, the building – which is set up as The Dominion House of Prayer – extends to 355sqm and stands on a 1.4 hectare site.

The sale was conducted by GW2, a subsidiary of Dublin-based auctioneers Ganly Walters.

Coleman’s of Philipstown, Dundalk is for sale through Carrickmacross-based auctioneers Gartlan O’Rourke.

The recently renovated bar and four bed residence is located on a four acre site, just four kilometres from Dundalk and the M1 motorway.

Located close to the popular Fintan Callan’s Ceili House, Coleman’s has a seven-day licence and features a number of out offices and a large car park.
