The Louth Contemporary Music Society and Create Louth, the County Council’s arts service, were amongst the local organisations to receive funding form the Arts Council recently.
Almost €290,000 is to be invested in arts in the Wee County this year.
The Louth Contemporary Music Society will receive €40,000 in funding while the Louth County Council arts service will receive €32,000.
In Drogheda, the Droichead Arts Centre will receive €145,000, the Upstate Theatre Project €57,500 and the Highlanes Gallery €45,000.
