Dundalk’s former Manchester Utd footballer Kyle Moran has paid tribute to Sir Alex Ferguson following his retirement today.
Kyle, from Bay Estate, joined the Old Trafford club a decade ago as a schoolboy – playing in youth sides that included the likes of Darren Fletcher and Danny Simpson, now of Newcastle Utd.
Kyle didn’t quite make the breakthrough at United unfortunately but later went on to play for a number of League of Ireland clubs including Shelbourne, Derry City and his hometown club, Dundalk.
