Airsoft could very soon be coming to Dundalk.

Adrian Mullen has been granted planning permission by Louth County Council for a new airsoft facility at Plaster, Mountpleasant.

Airsoft is a recreational activity with replica firearms that shoot plastic bullets known as BBs. Played as a game, opponents can eliminate each other by hitting each other with the pellets.

Mr Mullen has been given the go ahead to build timber structures and to create trenches and mounds at the site, in order to create a state of the art facility.

As well as storage and portaloo facilities on site, he also hopes to upgrade the existing entrance to the land.
