Santa Fun Run aiming to break the World Record

Dundalk Chamber of Commerce will be aiming to break a Guinness World Record when they hold their annual Santa Fun Run on Friday November 29th.

Over 4,000 participants are needed to break the record, which will be run in aid of five local charities: Lordship Children’s Respite Centre, North Louth Hospice, Men’s Sheds, SNAP and SOSAD.

The official launch of the event will take place at the Market Square on Wednesday September 11th at 6pm, with Louth captain Paddy Keenan and Leinster pair Rob and Dave Kearney amongst the guests of honour.

The event will take place from the Redemptorist Church on St Alphonsus Road to the Demesne and Market Square.

It will also coincide with the start of the Festival of Light and Culture.
